A Grateful Dead Tribute serving MD, DC, VA, WV and Furthur since 2002... Come join the party
Tom Ericsson
TomE, the "new guy" in the band, is one of the hundreds of white middle class bluesmen to emerge from the rough streets of Chevy Chase. His hobbies include brain surgery, model railroading, and asbestos removal. He likes Mahler and Bruckner and cites The Archies as a major influence on his own eclectic philosophy. Hates war and hunger, is irritated by politics, but tolerates the French.
A simple man, TomE lives in a lavish mansion staffed with indentured servants and maintains an operational dungeon. His favorite food is snipe under glass served with a fine cleaning product. His favorite color is burnt sienna. Buy him a beer. Now.
TomE has been a member of many bands including The Next Step, The Other People, Crazy Fingers, Electric Food, Jello, Juju Jamboree, and The Ballenger Creek Ramblers, and has guested with many artists including Melvin Seals and JGB, Tom Principato, The Nighthawks, Catfish Hodge, Deanna Bogart and many more.
TomE plays Lee Oscar and Hohner harmonicas through a Sonny Jr. amp and matched custom microphone. He swears by LP Percussion products and Shure Beta vocal microphones. TomE also uses Sennheiser wireless in-ear monitors and is very thirsty.
